Easy DIY Potpourri That Will Make Your Home Smell Amazing

This potpourri mix is a wonderful addition to any home - it's zesty, floral, woody, fresh, and all-natural!

8 dried lemon slices (1 medium-sized lemon)

2 cups dried lavender

1 cup dried rosemary

Optional (but recommended): Lemon juice/lemon oil

Directions:

1. Dry fresh lavender and rosemary by leaving it in some newspaper on your counter for a couple of days.

2. Pre-heat oven to lowest setting (usually between 150-175 degrees)

3. Wash lemon with warm water.

4. Cut lemon into 8 slices.

5. Spread slices on cookie sheet.

6. Bake for 1-2 hours, depending on your oven, until dry.

7. Let cool.

8. Once all ingredients are completely dry, place in a large sachet bag or divide mixture between a couple of small sachet bags.

9. Then, add a couple of drops of lemon oil/juice to bag(s).

10. Store sachet in your closet, clothing drawers, kitchen, or anywhere you want a fresh scent!

11. Add lemon juice/oil once a week for continued freshness.
