Tune Up Your Immunity: Sneeze Less, Heal More!

Updated: Dec 29, 2024

Cold and Flu season is right around the corner and our immunity is the first line of defense. Think of a castle with its stonewalls and moat, keeping out invaders. Our immune system, when healthy, protects us from invasions of bacteria, viruses, mold, and more.

Supercharging the Immune System

First, we need to understand how the thyroid, gut, and immune system work together. The relationship between the thyroid, gut, and immunity is very similar to the relationship the Three Stooges used to have. Curly would often try to attack Moe for hitting him on the back of the head, but Moe would almost always turn it on him with more clever tricks. Moe's character always needed to be in charge.

Our thyroid always wants to be in charge, and when it doesn't get its way, it creates havoc with our immune system.

Here are two simple things you can do to supercharge your immunity:

1. Morning Thyroid Activation Exercise

First thing in the morning, before you have breakfast, take the four fingertips of your right hand and place them on the left side of your neck for three minutes.

Now, change hands: take the four fingertips of your left hand and place them on the right side of your neck for three minutes.

Repeat this exercise around midday and just before bed.

Say out loud your intent as you are doing this exercise:

It is my intent to send healing energy to my thyroid, for my highest potential, aligned with my highest possibility, within the divine infinite field of all possibilities for balancing my thyroid now! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

2. Why Is the Thyroid the "First Line of Defense"?

The thyroid is considered the "first line of defense" in the immune system because it regulates our immune function by producing thyroid hormones. These hormones directly influence the activity and development of immune cells. Proper thyroid levels can also help control inflammation responses.

When chronic inflammation develops, it becomes a stepping stone to other diseases, such as:

  • Cancer

  • Heart Disease

  • Arthritis

  • Depression

3. Gut Health: A Key to Strong Immunity

Another key factor in maintaining health is a balanced gut. I experienced firsthand the life-changing power of Essiac tea—my gut health improved tremendously within a short time.

I drank one cup of Essiac tea for a month or two, which led to significant changes in my health. My tummy bulge disappeared, my skin began to glow, inflammation was reduced, and I had more energy to enjoy life!

What Is Essiac Tea?

Essiac tea is a Canadian herbal remedy developed in the 1920s by Canadian nurse Rene Caisse. It’s often sold as a powder but can also be found in tea bags or capsules.

Essiac Tea consists of four ingredients:

  • Burdock Root: Helps with blood circulation, skin issues, and stabilizing blood sugar levels.

  • Sheep Sorrel: A potent antiviral herb.

  • Slippery Elm: A considerable antioxidant that may help treat inflammation caused by bowel disease.

  • Indian Rhubarb: Another tremendous antioxidant that may inhibit the growth of liver cancer.

4. Super, Supercharge Your Immune System!

Hand Mudra for Aligning and Balancing the Chakras

Here’s a hand mudra you can use to align and balance the seven main chakras for divine communication with each other and the Universe:

  1. With just your left hand, press your ring fingertip into your palm, bringing your thumb and pointer fingertogether. Rest these on the top joint of your middle finger.

  2. Hold this position for 10 minutes, then take a 15-minute pause.

  3. Repeat this cycle for eight cycles within 24 hours. (It can be spaced out over a two-day period, as long as it is within 24 hours).

If you are sick, you can perform this exercise three days in a row. Otherwise, doing this exercise once a month works great to maintain a healthy immune system.

5. Take Charge of Your Health!

Implement these strategies into your routine and watch as you sneeze less and heal more. Your health is in your hands—make the decision to conquer colds once and for all!
