It's a call to adventure, a flickering spark urging you to embark on a path of self-discovery and profound transformation. For many years, I felt that same pull. I dreamt of a life infused with meaning, joy, and a deep connection to something greater than myself.
The longing simmered beneath the surface, wrestling with the prevailing thoughts and programs of a limited reality where my identity was confined by physical appearance, tasks, duties and agreed-upon roles. Yet, in the quiet moments, Spirit would whisper of something more. What I found in hindsight is that these whispers, these desires, these “weird” interests were like threads woven into a tapestry -breadcrumbs, leading me towards life-altering discoveries, revealed mysteries and an ongoing sense of deep fulfillment.
I remember an evening over 20 years ago. After a relationship breakup, I drove home with a powerful urge to dedicate myself even more to the spiritual path. I created a small ceremony, stated my intention and asked for a teacher to help me uncover my highest path and gifts. I had been doing little ceremonies like this for some time and although they would always produce magical results, on this day, when I lifted my hand to the sky to “send” my energies and intentions to The Universe… on this day, I witnessed a hand of light materialize, take my hand and shake it as if to say, “deal.” I’ve never been so awestruck before or since.
I literally fell to my knees and wept. Within two weeks, I met the teacher through synchronicity and soon after embarked upon the Awakening Your Lightbody Course that changed my life in unimaginable ways. The lightbody material became the foundation of my spiritual practice and the understandings and blessings continue to bloom. We all encounter these turning points, these bottom-hitting or aha! moments that ignite our desire for evolution and light the spiritual fire within. And fire it is, this journey of transformation. It's not about burning away who you are, but instead about releasing all that you are NOT. Essentially this spiritual path is about refining your essence, shedding limiting beliefs, and stepping into your full potential.
It's about facing the shadows within, the patterns that hold you back, embracing the transformative power of change, and stepping into the unlimited power and access of your higher self. The spiritual path isn't always linear. Many times, I’ve reached a level of awakening previously unknown only to be dropped back down into some unhealed place within my being that demanded my love and attention for healing before further growth and expansion could be experienced. It is the tools that we’ve gained along the way that support our moving through these trials by fire with the utmost grace. On your journey, there will be moments of doubt, of feeling lost in the wilderness. The ups and downs, the spirals, the uncertainty - it’s all a part of the unveiling mystery.
What truly unites us on this path is the desire to connect with our authentic selves, to awaken the gifts that lie dormant within, and to experience the profound joy of living in alignment with our true purpose. And in this quest, we are not alone. Just as a lighthouse guides weary sailors home, there are resources and communities waiting to support you on your journey. Whether it's a trusted mentor, a supportive group, or the wealth of knowledge available online, don't hesitate to ask the invisible realms to guide you to the right-fit next step. There is no wrong way. Follow your interests and desires.
